RamRaider in Cambridgeshire

We have contacted SCAMBS and have set up a project to open a mountain bike course in Cambridgeshire. The course will specialize in freeride/slopestyle but will have 4X, DJ and northshore + a trials area. Please sign this petition to show that there is a demand for a new place and answer the questions.
At the minute we have a couple more meetings arranged. The current location that we are looking at is RAF Waterbeach [Google Earth It], and if we do get this plot of land with the barracks accommodation then there is a chance that we can offer so much more: such as seasons like they have at Whistler BC and Woodward, and things such as coaching etc. There is a new Olympic training ground to be opened in Cambridge called Lakes, if we do not get the plot of land that we are currently looking at then our courses may be going onto Lakes and more mountain bike styles could be turned into an Olympic event. But either way our place will be a world cup event holder, and will still be open everyday of the week to the public. Please sign our petition to show your support.
At the minute this project looks promising, and all we can do at the minute is show that there is a need for a course in Cambridgeshire that has slopestyle. There are no other good slopestyle courses in the UK.

Sounds like a worthy cause. I signed the petition and left a little message. Please make this happen, I live nowhere near Cambridgeshire but would be happy to make the trip to ride a decent freeride/slopestyle course!

I live in cambridge, would be really good to have a local riding spot. I would be happy to help with the project, contact me if you are interested.
I don't know if I've ridden there or not I've ridden a couple of spots near there when I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath. Goodluck on the petition!
this would be amazing finally some were decent to ride in one of the flattest parts of the country and its were i live. its got my full support!
If your talking just riding for a day then it would be something like a 5er for the day. Nothing has been agreed but its the kind rate which we want. 5er a days fair enough is it not? 
We were also thinking of doing some kind of annual membership if your a frequent rider.
As for the staying in accomodation or staying in the area for a holiday or weekend we dont know yet. We need to get the land/permnission etc first!
